Hi everyone! I’m going to share a few of my travel tips with you today! Hope you’ll find it useful! ☺️
Google Translate:
Shopping overseas but don’t understand what the label says? Make use of the camera function to translate it! Not 100% accurate, but you’ll get a gist of what’s the product and it’s usage
Scissors
Do remember to keep it in your check in luggage. You’re not allowed to bring them onboard. It’s Super useful. Trust me!
Vacuum Bag
Do make use of these to pack your clothes! You’ll be able to store more items in your luggage. This is especially useful during winter. I got mine from daiso.
Pro tip: roll and kneel on it to dispel more air!
Hotel’s Laundry Bag
Make use of this to store your used clothings! 🤣 err I’m not sure if you’re allowed to take it though... so far all of the crew that I know does this lol!
Currencies- where to store them and how much to bring?
Hmmm I think it depends on which country you’re travelling to and the security level of your hotel. I’ve heard stories of hotel rooms getting broken into, and tbh, sometimes it’s safer to bring all your currencies with you.. I have 2 wallets with me whenever I’m travelling. 1 for petty cash and the other will contain all my cards and “big notes”. Lol dun let people see how much you’re carrying! Especially in Europe.
I am a rather well travelled person(due to my ex-occupation) and I THINK I am a very careful person when it comes to my personal belongings. However, I still got pick-pocketed in Milan and lost both my wallets 😭 I really think it all boils down to luck.
Some of my colleagues will lock their $$ in their cabin/cargo bag. There’s no foolproof method to keep your $$ safe.. so.. pray hard! Lol
