Hello everyone, this is chu chu your anonymous flyer. I will share with you about the different types of crew in this episode.
Being a cabin crew, the income is comfortable but stagnant(won’t make you rich lol). There is no progression in this line of work. Some treats it as a career, some stay on because they do not know what else to do, while some would only want to work for 2 years(minimum bond) to see the world and travel for “free”.
Without further ado, chuchu is going to share with you the types of crew we have.
Lazy type: Like what chuchu had mentioned, first impression counts. To be honest, Chu Chu will always think that crew who are plump are lazy, and Chu Chu is right 80-90% of the time! When you move less onboard(lazy) and keep on munching on onboard food, the chance of getting fat is high.
I remember on my dubai trip, there were only 3 of us working at the aft of economy class. One supervisor, one male crew and me. During meal service, the supervisor went missing as he claimed that he was having a stomachAche and he didn’t come out from the toilet until we had finished the meal service (which was 3 hours later, when the assistant purser came to ask why was our meal service so slow). After that, he told me that he dozed off in the toilet as he was very tired. Seriously? 🙄
Working with lazy crew is tiring because you have to do everything and cover their job for them. But it is okay if they leave us alone but what we hate most was, the naggy+ lazy type.
Naggy type :Mostly applies to the leaders. It is perfectly fine if they leave us alone to do our job. It’s okay if they do not want to work. We can cover for them. But we have some leaders who always think highly of themselves and thus they don’t “trust” crew. They will question and order us,
“why you use this to serve passengers?”
“Go and check toilet” when we had just finished the service and haven’t even had a sip of water.
And their favourite question “The call light answer already?” Hello, you can answer if you are free.
why you do this, why you do that? And so on.....
Omg our ears might get blocked and our eyes might roll away. At such a time, we really need to find some inner peace in the toilet. Zen~
