Think of Paris, certain things come to mind:
• The sparkling Eiffel Tower: because that glitters is gold! ;
• Inception Bridge: no there’s really nothing much there ;
• Notre-Dame: here’s one that I’ve taken before the fire ;
• Wall of Love: over 250 languages of “I love you”s imprinted on the wall, can’t get any cheesier to impress your partner ;
• Pont des Arts: the famous love lock bridge which is now banned but fret not because humans are creative. They will put a lock on any bridge they can find and turn them into love lock bridge ;
• The Louvre museum: probably because Mona Lisa, and it being the world’s most-visited, and one of the largest museums ever.
* Bonus *
Père Lachaise Cemetery: Thanks to a French-speaking crew, I did my first (and perhaps last) cemetery tour. This place lies many famous bodies, notably Frédéric Chopin (if you’re as musically-UNinclined as me, you might be more familiar with him thanks to Jay Chou) and Oscar Wilde (just look at the number of lipstick marks on his tombstone even after cleansing, so much that a barrier has to be set up).
No but seriously, I never knew a cemetery tour can be so interesting. There’s a lot more interesting sights.
Sightseeing is a lot more interesting and definitely less hostile than the people there... hmmm.
Word of advice: stay safe.
