Hello everyone, this is chu chu your anonymous flyer. Continuing with the types of passengers during meal service
“Where is my meal” type : When we are distributing special dietary meal, some will press the call light and ask where is their meal? Be patient. We will serve you shortly.
“What do you have” type : OMG! We distribute the menu card for a reason. For benefit of doubt( can’t read or whatever reason) we will say “sir, we are serving chicken with rice and fish with potato today. What would you like?” Then some will answer “May I have beef please? Or do you have noodles?” Chu Chu will then inhale and exhale deeply and answer them “nope. I only have chicken with rice or fish with potato!” Then they’ll piss Chu Chu off by saying “oh, sorry can you repeat again?”, because their earphone was on. Please have some basic courtesy to always plug out your earphone or pause your video when you are talking to the cabin crew, so we do not need to repeat ourselves and you don’t need to keep going “hah” “hah” “hah” ? So chicken with rice or fish with potato become our nightmare! Just kidding.
Allergy type :
Crew: Sorry mdm, I have run out of chicken today and I only have fish with potato.
Pax : Nope. I am allergy to fish. Go business class and find me something else.
So if you are really allergic to certain food, Chuchu will advice to you make advance booking for special dietary meal. We managed to get something else from business class for that passenger. During lull period, chuchu was distributing sandwich. We have tuna and vegetarian sandwich. The same passenger said she wanted to have the tuna sandwich. Chuchu asked, “mdm, this is tuna sandwich. You’re allergic to fish right?”
Passenger : oh, it’s okay. Tuna is fine for me.
Chuchu : you sure? 😑
Passenger : yes yes
So yes, we do have people pretend to be allergic to something. But luckily it’s just a minority of them.
Sidetrack, In this case, we need to submit a report to the company just in case she really has an allergy reaction and decides to sue us or make a complain. Overall, “covering backside” is very important.
There is more to come and to be continued...
