Been wanting rose petal pastries since learning that Yunnan moon cakes are primarily made of rose petals. Found these on TB and wouldn’t have been able to ship them in if not for vPost China! Also bought other flavours: Jasmine flowers, Matcha & Rose, and Golden Ham. Their signature classic, the rose petal pastries are made from rose petals grown in the cold Yunnan mountains. The smell of roses bursts in the mouth and is ever so lightly sweet. Amazing how “beautiful” something can taste. There is no added flavour so you really are tasting the scent of flowers in the buttery pastry.

The scent of fresh roses in every bite is so intense that I think… my body is gonna emit natural rose perfume before this carton finishes. ❁ *
