Hello everyone, this is chu chu your anonymous flyer. On this episode, I am going to share with you what kind of passengers we have to face onboard.
There are many types of passengers we face on different phases of the flight so chuchu will break into different sections.
Today, I am going to cover passengers that we have to handle on-ground. To be honest, there is too much to be listed but I am going to list down the most memorable ones.
There are nice passengers who will pass us some chocolates, fruits and etc to us when they come onboard. As a token of appreciation, we will pack some “goodies”(poker card, water bottle and whatever we can give, we will throw in) these little thing will make our day, and we will pay more attention to you too(we’re only human). Maybe you can try on your next trip. But not all crew are appreciative though.
On my beijing flight, there is an 1 hour delay due to fog and the captain had already made an announcement saying that we have to be grounded for 1 hour or so due to the weather condition. chuchu was working in economy class and one passenger pressed the call light and Chuchu went to attend to the passenger. The passenger say why the aircraft still not gonna to take off? Chuchu ask the passenger to look out the window and say sir due to fog, for safety reason we are unable to fly, we seek for your kind understanding and patience. Thank you.
During winter on my frankfurt flight, we have to queue for de-icing. A Passenger pressed the Call light and asked why is the aircraft not taking off? Why can’t they de ice the plane before passenger board? Sometimes I wish to tell the passenger please use some brain. When we de ice before passenger and the waiting time make the plane iced again and de-ice again? What’s the point?
My inner o.s :not that I enjoyed getting stucked in the aircraft with you. We are not paid for the delay okay. Safety is always of utmost importance. There is this saying, “有到好过没到” (better late than never)
On my taipei flight(the most memorable ever), passengers were upset that the flight was delayed for 3 hours due to some engine fault. Passengers started to yell at us but there is nothing we can do. I still want to live longer k. You can vent your anger on us but nothing can be done. Water or juice for you are the only thing I could do for you.
